Honest answers about pricing, quality, and our door replacement process

We Believe in Transparency

No question is off-limits. We’re here to help you understand door replacement pricing and make an informed decision.

Pricing & Value

No commissioned salespeople, no showroom overhead, and direct manufacturer relationships. We make money through volume and efficiency—not by overcharging each customer.

No catch. You've just been conditioned by inflated industry pricing. When competitors mark up 40-50%, fair pricing feels suspicious. Check our Google reviews—if we cut corners, people would mention it.

None. Your quote includes the door, all hardware, installation, cleanup, disposal, and warranty. The only way your price changes is if you decide to upgrade something mid-project.

Usually we don't need to—our prices are already competitive. But let's compare quotes together to make sure you're comparing apples to apples. Lower quotes often exclude installation, disposal, or warranty.

Installed: Traditional $1,200–$2,400, Carriage House $1,600–$3,200, Modern $1,800–$3,800, Premium Custom $2,500–$5,000. If you're getting quotes over $6,000 for a standard double door, someone's overcharging you.

Installation & Process

Garage doors: 4-6 hours. Entry doors: 3-5 hours. We complete everything in a single day, and your home will be secure before we leave.

Yes, we need someone 18+ home for the initial walkthrough, any questions during install, and final sign-off. You don't need to watch us the whole time.

We remove it and haul it away at no extra charge. If it's in good condition and you want to keep it, just let us know.

We'll stop, explain the issue in plain English, give you options with exact pricing, and let you decide. Nothing happens without your approval.

For emergencies (broken spring, security concerns), we can often accommodate within 24-48 hours with a small rush fee. Standard installations are scheduled 1-2 weeks out.

Products & Quality

Same manufacturers as the big companies—Clopay, Amarr, CHI, Masonite, Therma-Tru. We just buy direct and pass the savings to you instead of pocketing them.

For Canadian weather, yes—especially if your garage is attached to your house or you use it as a workshop. An insulated door saves $50-$200/year on heating and cooling.

Steel ($900–$2,500): Affordable, secure, low maintenance. Fiberglass ($1,200–$3,500): Looks like wood, extremely durable. Wood ($2,000–$5,500): Beautiful but requires maintenance. For most Toronto homes, we recommend fiberglass.

Yes—WiFi-enabled openers that let you control your door from anywhere, check if it's open, and get alerts. Adds $200-$400 to your project.

Warranty & Service

Manufacturer warranties on doors (lifetime limited), springs (10,000-30,000 cycles), and openers (5-10 years). Plus our 2-year installation warranty on labor and workmanship.

Call us. Warranty issues are fixed at no charge. Other issues get a fair quote. Emergency response within 24-48 hours, standard service within 1-2 weeks.
